Alexandria Rehabilitation is proud to partner with Senior Services of Alexandria to provide Meals on Wheels, and a well-check by Senior Services staff for any Alexandria City residents returning home after an Alexandria Rehabilitation stay to ensure a safe return to home and continued recovery!

We were thrilled to host State Senator Elizabeth Bennett-Parker for a tour of Alexandria Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center!

We are joining Senior Services of Alexandria again this year to bring the wonderfully informative program!

Local seniors are invited to attend on Saturday, June 6th, with registration at 8:30 AM and presentations beginning at 9:00 AM.

This is a free event but please register ahead of time by emailing Events@SeniorsServicesAlex.org or calling 703-836-4414, EXT. 110 - we hope to see you there!

Mark your calendar for Senior Law Day 2026 on Saturday, June 6, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church, 2932 King Street, Alexandria.

This free community event will help older adults and their families better understand key topics like avoiding financial scams, preparing important legal documents, and accessing public benefits.

Join us for a morning of practical information, trusted guidance, and resources to help seniors plan ahead with greater confidence.

Today, we honored the incredible nurses of our community with special gifts as a small token of appreciation for the compassion, dedication, and comfort they bring to our residents every single day. Congratulations to all The City of Alexandria Division of Aging and Adult Services, Excellence in Aging Award winners!

A special recognition for Marshall Hespe and Sedella Brookes, our Senior Services of Alexandria partners in the Caring Connection program! Caring Connection is a program for city residents returning home after a stay at our center. We provide one week of Meals on Wheels and Senior Services checks on the resident to be sure that they are thriving at home.
