We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of Michelle Burnette to Assistant Director of Nursing! 🎉 Michelle has served as our Infection Preventionist and will now be leading all of our Specialty Programs.

Thank you to our Alexandria Rehabilitation August Meals on Wheels volunteers, Administrator, Udeme "Udy" Ekong, RN, LNHA, and Josephine Tarawollie, RN, Director of Nursing!

In addition to volunteering for meal deliveries, Alexandria Rehabilitation is proud to partner with Senior Services of Alexandria to provide the Caring Connection program complementary to residents for one week after a stay in our care. The program consists of Meals on Wheels delivery and a well-check by Senior Services to ensure a safe return to home and continued successful recovery!

Sister Communities, and Rehabilitation and Healthcare Centers had a wonderful time supporting the Lisa Groover, of Corcoran McEnearney, event to shop and support Board of Lady Managers of Inova Alexandria Hospital at Sara Campbell Ltd.

There was a fun raffle and two Board of Lady Managers members were delighted to win our donations! Board of Lady Managers Co-Chair, Barbara Wells, won the Prince Michel Vineyard & Winery branded Woodbine Wine and Donita Greene, Director of Greene Funeral Home in Alexandria won the selection of fun cocktail napkins donated by Alexandria Rehabilitation.
