November is often a time people reflect on the people and things they are grateful for. How are you starting this month with a thankful heart?

For me: I’m intentionally giving more of my time to friends and family. This might mean more traveling, but the joy I gain from being around loved ones always warms my soul and recharges me.

Depression effects the way a person interacts with others and your ability to take care of yourself.

Think you might be experiencing depression? Here are a few things you can do.

1. Reach out to others for support (family, friends, coworkers).
2. Use coping skills that can help you feel relief and soothe yourself (taking a walk, connecting with nature, listening to music, etc)
3. Talk to a mental health professional or your primary care provider.
4. Be easy with yourself. Allow yourself time to recharge and take care of yourself.
