The Southeastern Regional Team gathered in beautiful Bay St. Louis, MS for our Strategic Planning Meeting August 20–22 — and we didn’t just plan… we PLAYED! 🙌

Our team-building activity was an action-packed Scavenger Hunt inspired by The Amazing Race, charades, and trivia. In just 90 minutes, teams dashed through this historic little town completing 25+ missions — from silly challenges to brain teasers!

🏆 And the winners are…
🥇 LOUISIANA — Champions of the Hunt!
🥈 MS/FL — A close second!
🥉 ALABAMA — Strong finish!

It was a highly successful and motivational meeting, and we’re already looking forward to making this annual tradition even bigger and better next year! 💪✨

Why do MRI machines make so much noise? This is actually a very common question. Noises associated with MRI machines have been compared to hearing a jackhammer a few feet away. You should be aware that these noises are normal and are not an indication that anything is wrong with the machine, but rather an indication that the machine is doing what it is supposed to.

SIS has been hard at work visiting providers, clinics, and schools that are in full swing caring for student athletes at both the high school and college levels.

They recently sponsored lunch for providers and athletic trainers during team physicals—where providers from Montgomery, Tuskegee, and Auburn University came together to ensure athletes are ready for the season ahead.

Refresh, Renew, Refocus was the theme of the 28th annual Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners (LANP) conference held on October 6th through the 9th at the Randolph Riverfront Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. Throughout the four-day event, hundreds of Nurse Practitioners from around the state took part in a variety of continuing education courses, keeping them up to date on the latest advances in patient care.

Exhibiting once again this year was Capitol Imaging Services (CIS) the largest independent network of imaging centers in the South East. Proudly representing CIS were Diagnostic Imaging Specialists, Katie Fett, Cynthia Lipari, and Jana Elkins. Their participation at the conference allowed them to network with not only attendees, but with fellow exhibitors as well.

Capitol Imaging Services once again participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Alexandria, Louisiana. Our group was comprised of CIS team members, friends, and family who helped raise $560 this year! We look forward to the day when we can say we've won this fight!
