I am so pumped to be a Board member of Athletes Serving Athletes (ASA) this year!
ASA is a transformational organization that believes meaningful connections are crucial to everyone’s overall health and wellness. ASA focuses on empowering people, living with limited mobility, through inclusive running experiences-making these types of relationships a reality for our athletes, their families, and all of the volunteers.

🚨C O M P E T I T I O N R E C A P 🚨

Three members of Trident Barbell club competed this weekend at . They showed up and showed out! 🏋️‍♂️

This was Kevin’s first competition, and he crushed it! He went 6 for 6 in his lifts, and even got a personal best in his clean and jerk.

Meagan had a great meet and was successful in 4 of 6 lifts. She got a competition PR on her clean and jerk and a clean PR on her 3rd attempt!

Meg had a great fight this competition. She was successful in all 6 of her lifts!

We ♥️ seeing all the time, effort, and hard work pay off on the platform. Next time you see them in the gym, make sure to give them a big high five ✋🏼

‼️ Join Trident’s Olympic Weightlifting Clinic starting Thursday, July 10th ‼️

Over 6 weeks (12 sessions), you’ll focus on technique for both the Sn**ch and Clean & Jerk. Classes will be led by Trident Weightlifting Coach Rick “Champ” Bucinell (). Whether you’re a beginner building a strong foundation or an experienced lifter refining your skills, all levels are encouraged and welcomed!

Celebrated him today in a lowkey manner, but Josh is leaving behind a strong presence. We’re so grateful for everything you’ve brought to Trident. From holding down the 9:30 and 12:30 classes to personal training sessions, you’ve done it with consistency, care, and a whole lot of heart.

Meet one of our most popular classes here at Trident: Performance Lab 💥

🔸Designed by coaches Anne-Marie and Andrea, this class aims to build full-body strength, boost cardiovascular fitness, and improve mobility—all while helping you stay injury-resistant and move with purpose.

🔸Each session includes a blend of compound lifts (squats, deadlifts, and presses), core and stability work, high-intensity intervals, and a longer metcon every Friday to strengthen your aerobic base. Unilateral training is also included to correct imbalances and support overall performance.

🔸The focus is on the fundamentals of strength training—prioritizing proper technique, controlled tempo, and intentional movement. You’ll train with a wide range of equipment- including barbells, kettlebells, sleds, battle ropes, and cardio machines, so your training stays both effective and varied.

🔸Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience, Performance Lab meets you where you are. You’ll get the same strength and conditioning benefits as CrossFit—without the Olympic lifts, high-skilled gymnastics, or high-impact movements.
