Is Today Your Pay Day?
Abundance Is More Than Money
Did your household prepare collard greens and black-eyed peas to welcome the new year?
I did.
So did my mom and my aunts.
And so did so many friends I’ve met from different parts of the U.S.
It’s a cultural tradition of prosperity, grounding, and continuity.. something my grandmother used to do faithfully. A quiet way our elders spoke abundance over the year before it even began.
Black-eyed peas have long symbolized wealth, protection, and provision nourishment that carries the prayer of “we will have enough.”
Collard greens, with their deep green color and sturdy leaves, represent endurance, steady growth, and rooted prosperity.
This year, we are choosing to keep that energy moving beyond the table and into the body.
Across many ancestral traditions, movement has always been a way to honor life, give thanks, and call in provision. Our ancestors danced for rain when the earth was dry and for harvest when the people needed sustenance. They moved with their bodies .. hips, feet, breath, and heart .. expressing gratitude and expectation at the same time.
This Sunday, we return to that remembrance through movement.
We will gather in circle and move the body with intention.
We will dance abundance ..not as performance, but as practice.
Not asking, but affirming and activating.
Cooking was the intention.
Movement becomes the continuation.
This class is womb-centered, grounded, and welcoming.
A space to stay present with the body.
A space to move gratitude and expectation together.
Each person is invited to bring a coin or a dollar not as payment, but as a symbolic gesture of circulation and intention. Together, we acknowledge that abundance flows, multiplies, and returns.

🌿 Supporting the Energy of Abundance with Essential Oils
Essential oils can gently support grounding, clarity, and openness as we move into the year.
Frankincense – clarity, steadiness, intention
Patchouli – grounding, stability, rooted energy
Sweet Orange – joy, circulation, openness
Bergamot – emotional balance and optimism
Cinnamon (used lightly) – warmth, motivation, forward movement
A drop on the wrists, the soles of the feet, or in a diffuser is enough.
Soft presence over intensity.
I’ll have these in class on Sunday to share with you.
🌿 21 Days Raw
Yup, I began 21 Days 100% Raw on Monday as a practice of listening, clearing, and returning to simplicity. This isn’t about changing the body’s size or pursuing weight loss. Bodies release what they need to release in their own timing.
This practice is really about circulation, clarity, digestion, inflammation reduction, hydration, and nervous system support.
Some bodies rest.
Some bodies regulate.
Some bodies simply exhale.
I’m holding space. Support can look like check-ins, shared nourishment ideas, gentle accountability, or simply moving with intention together.
No pressure.
No perfection.
Just presence and care.
Todays Affirmation
Abundance is the flow of life toward me, not something I chase or earn
