The most powerful investment we can make is in our children.

When we offer education to youth, we plant the seeds of a brighter, more resilient tomorrow, for Haiti, and for humanity.
For over three years, Haiti has endured a relentless crisis. According to an October 8th report by UNICEF , 680,000 children are displaced.
Thousands of schools have shuttered under the weight of gang violence. The economy continues to deteriorate, and countless families are unable to afford school fees for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Yet even in the darkest hour, hope persists. The St Luke Foundation stands firm in its belief that every Haitian child deserves the dignity of learning.
This month we distributed 250 school kits to students ages 6 to 14 at Toto Camp in Delmas. Each kit is more than a backpack: it is a lifeline, a promise, and a step toward rebuilding futures.

Steevenson Saint-Fort, a parent of one of the students, expressed his gratitude by saying, thank you St Luke Foundation for this supportt!"

In this moment of hardship, we renew our unwavering commitment:
To walk beside the most vulnerable.
To uplift through education.
To never give up on Haiti’s children.

Thank you for helping make this possible.

We are deeply grateful to Fondazione Francesca Rava - NPH Italia ETS, whose generous support made this event possible and who has long stood beside the hospital in its humanitarian mission.

– As part of the closing events of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, St. Luc Hospital organized a Breast Cancer Awareness Program on Friday, October 31, 2025. Nearly one hundred participants, including medical staff, patients, and visitors, gathered around a powerful message: Prevention saves lives.

You're Invited!

It's time to sign up to help St Luke by reaching out to your family, friends and other networks by signing up to have a Christmas party! It can be as small as sharing our link asking others to support the work being done in Haiti or as big as having an in person party and inviting more people to the table. Several of our friends have used Giving Tuesday (one month from now: Dec 2nd!) as way to share and help us organically spread the word. We have a wonderful group of volunteers willing to help you! It is difficult for the reader to imagine what Haiti is like- because there is very limited or no news published. Haiti is a country of deep anguish, lived out in the shadowy edges of human concern.
The entire population is in agony.

We have had a lot of violence in our area these past days, focused in nearby Santo. Santo 17 to be precise. A gang battle that has left many dead, injured and homeless once again. Last Sunday, Gena and I met with the survivors of the killings and kidnappings in Furcy. Three of them came, one of the

Dear family and friends,

As we have made our way through the weeks celebrating Easter, Ascension and soon Pentecost, the sufferings in which we accompany the Haitian people are the farthest you can imagine from being joyful and consoling.
