Imaging Systems (MRIS) is owned by Patrick Fett and is the only locally owned MRI facility in Central Louisiana. MRIS was the first medical facility to be accredited by the ACR (American College of Radiology). ward consecutively every 3 years. In July of 2013, MRIS began using a new high-field open air magnet designed and manufactured by Hitachi. The new open magnet is ideal for everyone including pediatric, geriatric, bariatric, and claustrophobic patients. They use the utmost care and knowledge in helping patients complete each study. Once the images are completed, they are interpreted by some of the finest MRI fellowship trained radiologists in the world, including a chief resident of Harvard Medical School's Radiology program and an adjunct professor in the department of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Johns Hopkins University.
