Today, we're shining the spotlight on our incredible Family Medicine residents who pour their hearts into patient care every single day. Your dedication, compassion, and endless hard work do not go unnoticed!

To our residents: THANK YOU for all that you do. We're so proud to have you on our team! We wanted to make sure your treat was just as sweet as you are, so we celebrated with some delicious peach cobbler and cheesecake! You've earned every single bite!

We wrapped up an amazing Holiday Spirit Week on a high note with axe throwing! 🪓🎯 What better way to end a week full of festive fun than letting off a little steam, sharing lots of laughs, and making great memories together?

From themed days and holiday treats to decorations and team spirit, this week was all about celebrating our incredible residents, faculty, and staff. We’re so grateful for this hardworking group and the joy they bring to our program & clinic every day.

Holiday cheer, teamwork, and a little friendly competition made the perfect finale! 🎅🎁❄️

This week, our residents, faculty, and clinic team came together for our annual Thanksgiving Potluck, and it was the perfect reminder of what makes this program so special — community, generosity, and the joy of sharing good food with great people.

💜💛 LSU Family Medicine Residency Program & Clinic Gives Back to CenLA! 💛💜

We’re proud to share that our residents, faculty, and clinic staff joined together in the spirit of service, donating 428 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.

October was a full month for our residency program—between the In-Training Exam, our Jurassic Park Trunk-or-Treat, and the start of recruitment season, our residents, faculty and staff have been hard at work! We wrapped it all up with a fun Halloween potluck last Thursday. 🎃🩺

🦖🎃 The LSUHS Family Medicine Residency knocked it out of the park (Jurassic Park, that is!) at the Rapides Regional Medical Center Trunk or Treat! 🦕

Our resident's creativity, enthusiasm, and teamwork brought the theme to life. The kids (and adults!) loved every minute. We had so much fun and can’t wait for next year!
