As if I didn’t already have a kitten problem…

Someone left this one at my church, and super short story, I brought her home.

She is about the same age as the others, and I knew I would feel terrible if I drove by the next day and she was squashed on the highway. So, when one of the older parishioners put her in my hands, I said, why not?

She’s a very gentle about 6-7wk old gray kitten.

If you don’t prefer gray or a girl, don’t worry! I have other colors and boys too!

We used Magnolia for the neuter of a rando cat that showed up. Everyone seems to like him (he HATES Earl Gray, but we will work on that lol), so we had him neutered, maybe he will stick around.

Anyway, best neuter experience ever. Super easy to set up, low cost, and Birdie (the cat) seemed most unbothered by the whole thing 🤣

Did you have prenatal care with a midwife? How was it different or helpful?

Prenatal care is critical to healthy outcomes for mamas and babies. One of the reasons midwifery care results is better outcomes than the main stream model is because midwives are awesome at prenatal care. 💕

Did you know licensed midwives can offer prenatal care to low risk women, even those with one previous cesarean section, who are planning to have their baby at the hospital? It is super cool and one of the most underutilized services midwives offer.

I get it. Home birth isn’t for everyone. But I really believe, and the evidence supports, midwifery prenatal care can be beneficial to so many women.
