This past weekend MRC volunteers had a great day of outreach sharing info on emergency preparedness at Friendship Firehouse Festival in Old Town.

Tomorrow is another beautiful day and we’ll be at several spots for National Night Out 8/5. Catch us at Carlyle Square Park, Del Ray, and a couple other gatherings in Alexandria!

Big thanks to the volunteers who responded this week for both the planned and unplanned.

Thanks to you, all of this was possible:
📈MRC volunteers processed over 200 paper Community Health Assessment (CHA) surveys, entering the data into an online database for detailed analysis.
👋🏼MRC volunteers supported the CHA kickoff event as activity facilitators and support personnel to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
📢MRC recruited new volunteers, gathered responses for the CHA survey, AND spread the word about the FREE flu vaccination event at Minnie Howard on October 26!
❤️MRC deployed to the lead-testing response to support our community.
