For today’s Therapist’s Desk, we’re spending time with Shelton Poutter, Clinical Supervisor and LCSW.

She opened up about what inspired her to become a therapist, the small grounding rituals that help her reset and the sweet reminders in her space that make her smile.

From sunshine themed moments of calm to tiny yellow birds with big personality, her desk reflects the heart she brings to her work.

We’d love to know what brings you a sense of grounding during the week. Drop a comment and share something in your space that helps you pause or breathe a little easier.

Spending time in nature is one of the simplest ways to support your mental health. 🌿

Whether it’s a walk around the block or a quiet moment in a nearby park, being outdoors can lower stress, reduce anxiety, and help you feel more grounded.

Try slowing down, engaging your senses, and giving yourself a few minutes to simply be.

Your mind and body will thank you. 💛
