The demand for facial plastic surgery continues to grow. According to the latest annual survey from the AAFPRS, procedures are projected to increase 19 percent nationwide, totaling an estimated 1.6 million treatments.

“We are moving toward more personalized, natural, and longevity-focused care,” says Anthony Brissett, MD, Houston facial plastic surgeon and AAFPRS President. “Nonsurgical treatments now account for roughly 80 percent of procedures, reflecting demand for subtle options. Technology is enhancing communication and access, but expertise and specialized training remain essential. As president of the AAFPRS, I see a future defined by thoughtful planning and results that age well, not trends that come and go.”

Are more men turning to facial plastic surgery?

According to new AAFPRS survey data highlighted by Modern Aesthetics, men are increasingly seeking procedures such as eyelid surgery, injectables, and facelifts. “We are seeing men move away from stigma and toward self-investment,” said Anthony Brissett, MD, president of the AAFPRS and a facial plastic surgeon based in Houston. “For many, facial plastic surgery has become a form of personal and professional maintenance - helping them look rested, healthy, and confident without obvious signs of treatment.”

As awareness grows and stigma continues to fade, more male patients are exploring both surgical and minimally invasive options to look refreshed while maintaining natural results.
