🔥 BBQ Fun & Community Spirit! 🌭🍔

Yesterday, our team came together to host a summer BBQ for our amazing residents and clients—and what a day it was! A huge shoutout to our Maintenance Director, Travis, for manning the grill and serving up delicious burgers and hotdogs. 🙌

Our talented kitchen crew brought their A-game with a mouthwatering spread of baked beans, potato salad, and chips. And our management team rolled up their sleeves to help serve and connect with everyone.

It was a day full of great food, laughter, and community—just the way summer should be. 💛

Yesterday, our residents got crafty and creative as they designed their very own racehorses—using pool noodles, colorful craft supplies, and a whole lot of imagination! 🎨🐴

Each resident now has a one-of-a-kind horse proudly displayed in their room, ready to race in our upcoming activity. The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to see these horses in action!

🐴🐐 A Special Visit from Erickson's Petting Zoo! 🐾

Bethany on the Lake was full of smiles and snuggles last Friday as our therapeutic recreation team welcomed Erickson’s Petting Zoo for a day of furry fun! Residents and clients from our long-term skilled nursing, memory care assisted living, adult day services, and short-term rehab programs all had the chance to meet baby goats, miniature horses, and other adorable animals.

The joy on everyone’s faces said it all—there’s nothing quite like the comfort and connection animals bring. 💚

A heartfelt thank you to Erickson’s Petting Zoo and our amazing team for creating such a meaningful experience!

We had the opportunity to donate 30+ sets of brand-new, unlogoed scrubs—tops, pants, and jackets—to the CNA program at Alexandria Technical and Community College. These students are just beginning their journey into healthcare, and we’re proud to support them as they take their first steps.

Did you know that a single set of scrubs can cost anywhere from $25 to $40, and students often need multiple sets for training and clinicals? By donating these scrubs, we’ve helped save each student up to $120 or more—a meaningful contribution as they prepare to care for others.

We’re grateful to be part of a community that invests in the next generation of healthcare professionals. 💙
