We’re excited to celebrate Sam’s well-earned promotion!

Sam began her journey with us as a Culinary Services Aide, quickly demonstrating her dedication and strong work ethic. She advanced to a Cook position and later earned her CNA certification, continuing to serve our residents while attending college. After graduating, Sam took part in an internship where she gained valuable experience across several departments, including Administration, the Business Office, and Marketing. During this time, she also built a strong foundation in Medicare processes and billing.

When the Business Office Assistant position became available, Sam’s growth and commitment made her a natural choice—and she was selected for the role. Soon after, Ali, our Business Office Manager, was promoted to Business Office Consultant, opening the door for Sam’s next step.

We are thrilled to announce Sam’s promotion to Business Office Manager! Her dedication, versatility, and passion for serving others make her an incredible asset to our team. We’re confident she will continue to do amazing things for our organization and for the residents and families we serve.

We had a fantastic (and very warm!) day out on the course yesterday at the Alexandria Technical and Community College Foundation’s Scramble for Scholarships golf tournament!

Bethany on the Lake was proud to sponsor the putting green and support such a meaningful cause in our community. It was a great opportunity to connect, laugh, and enjoy the sunshine with so many wonderful participants.

Our foursome fully embraced the day — and while we may have walked away with the “highest score” (we’re choosing to call it a unique achievement 😉), we still had a blast and even picked up some fun prizes along the way!

Thank you to ATCC Foundation for hosting such a memorable event, and to everyone who made the day so enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to next year!

After nearly four years of dedicated service as our Business Office Manager at Bethany on the Lake, we are excited to share that Ali has accepted a new role with our corporate team as a Business Office Consultant!

In this position, Ali will support several Monarch communities—providing training, guidance, and expertise to Business Office Managers across the organization. Her knowledge, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact here at Bethany, and we are so proud to see her take this next step.

While we will miss having her in her day-to-day role here, we’re grateful that Bethany will remain her home base when she’s not traveling—so we’ll still get to see her around!

Congratulations, Ali—we can’t wait to see all you accomplish in this new role!

What a beautiful week celebrating National Skilled Nursing Home Week at Bethany on the Lake! 🌼

Our theme, Moments in Bloom, truly came to life as residents and staff enjoyed a full week of activities, dress-up days, bright colors, and lots of floral fun. From planting seeds of kindness to sharing sweet treats and creating stunning floral arrangements, every day was filled with connection, laughter, and meaningful moments. 🌷

We also had the pleasure of welcoming our corporate team members on Friday, who spent time celebrating with us and recognizing excellence within our team. A special congratulations to Nurse Manager Sammi Olson, who received the Perennial Growth Award for her continued dedication to growing as both a nurse and a leader of our Short-Term Rehab team. We are so proud of the impact Sammi makes every day! 💚

Thank you to everyone—residents, staff, and visitors—who made this week so special. These moments are what make our community bloom. 🌺
