As we say farewell to Dr. Garlisi, we want to take a moment to thank him for his time, dedication, and compassion at Mt. Vernon Center for Dentistry. His presence in the office, his care for our patients, and his support as a teammate will be truly missed.

While it’s hard to say goodbye, we are so excited for what’s ahead for him and his growing family. We wish him nothing but the absolute best in this next chapter and can’t wait to see all that’s to come!

Dr. Mady has spent the past week in Brazil, at the ILAPEO College of Dentistry, advancing his skills in full-mouth implant restorations. 🦷✨ Alongside an incredible team, they placed over 90 implants—completely transforming the smiles and lives of over 20 patients at no cost! He also had the opportunity to visit the NEODENT implant factory, where over 500,000 implants are produced monthly.

A huge thank you to our amazing team for holding down the fort while Dr. Mady continues to grow and bring back the latest in implant dentistry! See you all Monday! 👏

A Bittersweet Farewell to Dr. Abbareddy as she embarks on a new adventure! While it’s hard to see her go, we are beyond grateful for the time she has spent as part of our Mt. Vernon Center for Dentistry family. Her dedication, kindness, and exceptional care for our patients have left a lasting impact, and we cannot thank her enough for everything she has done.

Last night, we had the honor of bringing together the teams from Mt. Vernon Center for Dentistry and Center for Dental Anesthesia to celebrate a true legend in dentistry: Dr. James Geren, DDS, MAGD.

Dr. Geren has dedicated his life to serving thousands of patients in our community and beyond. His commitment to learning and his pursuit of excellence earned him the prestigious Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor achieved by only 4% of dentists. (Fun fact: His partner, Dr. Mady, has also followed in his footsteps and earned this distinction!)

Over his incredible career, Dr. Geren has transformed countless smiles, saved lives, and made an immeasurable impact on our community. He’s built not only thriving dental practices but also a legacy rooted in compassion, education, and success—one that will continue for generations to come.

As Dr. Geren begins this exciting new chapter of retirement, we wish him the best as he enjoys more time with his family, skiing out west, golfing, relaxing at Smith Mountain Lake, and maybe even handling the occasional Sunday evening dental emergency!
