What is a “need blind” sliding scale? That means that the full range of the sliding scale is available to each potential client and we don’t require “proof” that you are qualified for a lower price. At Del Ray Midwifery, we believe home birth should be accessible to everyone and that everyone is entitled to the dignity of using the sliding scale without revealing their finances. We are so grateful for the clients who choose the higher end of the scale, but we provide the same level of care to everyone.
