An incredible turnout for this month's social at Mi Tio! We met SO many new faces and got to hangout with our loyal YPG-ers as well.

Get to know YPG Treasurer, Annie Johnson Salazar! 💙💚🩷

A proud Alexandria native, Annie joined YPG as a member in 2023 and began serving on the board in 2024. This marks her second year as Treasurer and her third year of involvement with YPG. She’s passionate about building a strong network of young community leaders and helping attract more young professionals to the CENLA area.

Outside of YPG, Annie serves as the Clinical Director for the Therapy Program at the Children’s Advocacy Network in Alexandria, where she is a licensed professional counselor making a meaningful impact every day.

We’re excited to have Annie’s continued leadership and heart for the community on our board this year!

This week our YPG Board joined the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce at their 2025 Legislative Appreciation Luncheon!

We heard from Speaker Pro Tempore Mike Johnson, Sen. Jay Luneau, Sen. Jay Morris, Sen. Glenn Womack, Sen. Mike Reese, Sen. Heather Cloud, Rep. Jason Dewitt, Rep. Gabe Firment, and Rep. Daryl Deshotel - as they educated us on the work that is going on in our state as well as our community.

Last Friday we joined PRAL Central for an INCREDIBLE seminar led by Dennis Wimmert, Leadership Executive at Red River Bank! If you missed out, we highly encourage you to find time to connect with Dennis.
