Join ACB in urging Congress to reverse reductions impacting people with disabilities!

The U.S. Department of Education recently enacted sweeping layoffs that have nearly dismantled the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), and the Office for Civil Rights (OCR).

These cuts remove the staff responsible for enforcing the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Rehabilitation Act, putting essential protections for students and adults with disabilities at serious risk.

Join ACB, VisionServe Alliance, and the Association for Education & Rehabilitation of the Blind & Visually Impaired (AER) in urging Congress to take action.

It’s National New Friends Day!

Meet Toni Burrell of Florida and Danette Dixon of Washington. These two ACB members first connected through ACB Community calls, quickly became friends, and even co-facilitated an event together. In 2024, they finally met in person at the ACB Convention in Jacksonville, FL.

Stories like theirs show how the ACB Community helps people build connections, share experiences, and create lasting friendships.
