According to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, these 5 components are more important to the prevention & management of disease than the Components of Skill Related Fitness: Balance, Reaction Time, Coordination, Agility, Speed, & Power. However, this does not mean that skill related fitness is not taken seriously when considering your optimal function.
