Blue Box Psychotherapy Inc We are a group of majorly Q***r, neurodiverse, and BIPOC therapists offering trauma, s*x, gender, body, LGBTQIA, and neurodiverse affirming therapy.

We serve the DC, MD and VA regions via telehealth and offer in person sessions in DC and Alexandria. We offer individual and relationship therapy for monogamous and ethical non-monogamous partners. We are proficient in trauma informed, harm reducing and empowering therapy for survivors of trauma. We serve the LGBTQIA and s*x worker communities and are kink knowledgeable/affirming. We provide non-religious, s*x positive, premarital counseling. Body, gender, neurodivergent and s*x affirming therapy. Asha Gray LPC, Owner of Blue Box Psychotherapy, also provides individual supervision to therapists in the field who are looking for case review or therapists working towards licensure in DC. As a LPC with a long history of working with clients in kink, polyamorous, sw***er, mono/poly, s*x worker and LGBTQIA communities as well as survivors of trauma, folx who are neurodiverse and monogamous couples, she can provide a unique perspective and tools to use with clients. I am proud to announce we have a new intern, Keren Alvarado, who will be offering sessions Fri-Sun at the practice, starting next week. She will be offering low fee sessions of $35 for individuals and $55 for couples in both English and Spanish. With additional sliding scale and probono sessions available. She will have in-person availability at our Alexandria office and telehealth sessions for those in DC and VA. You can find more about her in her bio below.

Keren Alvarado is a counselor intern at Capella University, offering individual therapy with a professional, energetic, and uplifting approach. Keren is a proud first-generation Latinx and bis*xual mother of two children with ADHD. She specializes in LGBTQIA+ affirming counseling, gender-affirming care, and neurodiversity-affirming support, guiding clients through life transitions, depression, and anxiety. Passionate about inclusivity and empowerment, Keren creates a safe space where every person can build resilience, explore their identity, and move confidently toward personal growth.

I offer individual and relationship therapy for monogamous and ethically non-monogamous partners. I am proficient in trauma informed, harm reduction and empowerment therapy for survivors of trauma. I am currently working towards AASECT certification as a s*x therapist and am interested in providing assistance to individual's and partners seeking s*xual and gender identity growth. I also provide individual supervision to therapists in the field who are looking for case review.
