Hospice of Douglas County is currently hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our On-Call team. The position involves evenings, weekends, and if possible, some weekdays. Minimum Qualifications: RN licensed in MN.

Training and education provided along with flexible work hours, schedule accommodations, PTO and PERA eligibility. Starting salary range is $34.90-$37.02/hour with earning potential up to $45.53/hour. Evening and weekend pay will include a base rate plus time and one half for any time related to patient care.

It is very important for you to have the opportunity to talk about your loved one, focus on accomplishments, attributes or shared activities. Select any mementos that you have of your loved one and bring along to share with the group. Possible mementos: special photos, article of clothing, books, examples from hobbies, gifts, jewelry, letters, poems, or share a special memory. The only limit is one’s imagination!

Later today the sky will be filled with butterflies in honor of our loved ones. Join us for our annual Memorial Butterfly Release at 5:30 p.m. on the Courthouse lawn. You may purchase butterflies when you arrive. There will be ice cream, music and a short program and then you may release your butterfly.
