Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! 💟

When I think about this holiday, I always think of the people who are most important to me. They're the ones who make my life so great—they've helped me become the person I am today.

Want to live a longer life? You might want to consider adding these foods to your diet.

BEST FOODS FOR A LONGER LIFE

Beans: Beans are high in fiber and protein, while being low in fat and calories. They're also rich in vitamins C, K, and B6, folate, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and potassium.

Cruciferous Vegetables: Cruciferous vegetables include broccoli and cauliflower. These veggies contain glucosinolates that help prevent cancer by breaking down carcinogens into harmless substances before they can reach the colon where they can cause damage for years to come.

Berries: Berries are rich in antioxidants that protect against heart disease and cancer.

Dark Leafy Greens: Dark leafy greens such as kale, spinach and arugula are high in vitamins A & C which help keep eyes healthy.

Walnuts: Walnuts contain omega-3 fatty acids that can lower blood pressure.

Olive Oil: Olive oil helps reduce the risk of heart disease by lowering bad cholesterol levels while increasing good cholesterol levels.

I am stronger than my excuses.💥💯

The human mind is a beautiful and wondrous thing. We can use our minds to think up an excuse that makes sense. You’ve got dinner to cook, and you’ve got extra work to do, you worked later than usual; all excuses. Drop what you’re doing and do your workout.

Your body is made up of muscle fibers that need to be worked out in order for them to get stronger. If you don’t work out, those muscles will become weaker over time due to disuse (not being used). Your body has no choice but to adapt by becoming smaller and less toned as it adapts to your new lifestyle choices which include not working out as much as you used to or at all anymore!

You can make excuses all day long, but if no action is taken then nothing will change. You have the power within yourself right now at this very moment…right where you are sitting right now reading this post…to change your life for the better if only for today or tomorrow…but do it today!

This is it! The day you've been waiting for.

It's hump day, and that means it's time to get your sweat on.🚶‍♀️

But don't worry, I've got you covered with this scrumptious Garlic Sriracha Pork Stir Fry recipe. 🥩 It's packed with flavor, protein, and nutrients that will keep you feeling full and satisfied all day long. Plus, it's one of those super simple recipes that takes no time at all to whip up—so you can spend less time in the kitchen and more time getting your sweat on!

1 lb. (450g) ground pork
1 tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 yellow onion, sliced
1 eggplant, cut into half moons
1 red pepper, cut into strips
2.1 fl. oz. (60ml) tamari
2 tbsp. coconut sugar
4 tsp. sriracha sauce
7 oz. (200g) green beans, cut
into 2” (5cm) pieces
0.7 oz. (20g) cilantro, chopped

Place the ground pork into a large skillet over a medium-high heat,
and brown the pork, breaking it up with a wooden spoon. Transfer
to a plate and set aside.
Return the skillet to a medium heat and warm the olive oil. Add the
garlic and onion and sauté for 4 minutes until softened, then
increase the heat to medium-high and stir-fry the eggplant and
pepper for 2-3 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine the tamari, coconut sugar and
sriracha and add to the pot, along with the green beans and cooked
pork. Sauté until the green beans are bright green and the pork has
warmed through.
Top with freshly chopped cilantro and serve immediately.

Post-workout recovery exercises should be done to help you flush out lactic acid and prepare your body for the next day's workout. A full-body routine of openers is a great way to get back into the swing of things after a workout.

Below is a list of exercises you can use to help with post-workout recovery:

The full-body opener is a great way to do that. It's a simple, effective way to improve your mobility and get in a little extra stretching. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and bend at the knees, hips and back as you bring your upper body forward and lower it toward the ground.

Downward dog is a great stretch for your lower body. It's also a great way to wake up your brain and get some blood flowing through your body! To perform downward dog, start in a four-point position and slowly pull your hips back until you're in plank position. Make sure that you maintain proper alignment by keeping your hips, shoulders and hands in line with each other.

The forward fold is an exercise that is great for stretching out your hamstrings and hips, as well as working on your spine mobility. It also helps to improve your balance, which is important in many sports. To do this exercise, stand in an upright position with knees slightly bent and arms hanging down to the floor. Bend through the hips and spine until you can touch the floor with your hands. Reverse the movement by going up through your spine until you are standing again.

Walk Out, Stand in an upright position. Place your hands on the floor, then hand-walk forward into the plank position and return to a standing position. Perform one set of 5 reps in a smooth, controlled movement, with a good stop at the end position. The intensity is light. This exercise works on stretching out the hamstrings and glutes and activating the muscles in the core abdominal areas and shoulders.

You earn your body.💪

We see people with bodies they love to show off, and a tinge of jealousy overcomes us. But they weren't born like that; they worked for it. Either they dieted adequately throughout their lives, or they worked out.

Either way, you can have that body too. You just need to put in the work.

You don't have to be born ripped or beautiful. You don't have to inherit good genes or fair skin or big eyes or perfect hair or a nice smile—you earn those things through your own hard work, dedication and perseverance! You can make yourself into whatever you want to be if you just put in the effort!💯
