Important Update:

Effective January 1, 2026, the State of Louisiana has terminated its contract with UnitedHealthcare Community Health Plan.

Please rest assured that Cenla Children’s Clinic participates in all Louisiana Medicaid health plans, so there will be no interruption in your child’s healthcare.

All current UnitedHealthcare Community Health Plan members will be automatically enrolled into a new Medicaid plan, and families will have 90 days to change plans if they choose.
