Nine seeds. Nine teachers. One unforgettable journey. 🌱

These incredible humans just completed their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, and watching them bloom over these months has been pure magic. From nervous first cues to confident dharma talks, they’ve each discovered the teacher that was already inside them.

Yesterday we burned what no longer served us and claimed our truths. They were gifted sacred Rudraksha malas from Rishikesh and spoke their intentions into being. We honored not just what we learned, but who we’ve become.

To Lisa, Murphy, Kat, Rita, Reena, Ellen, Carla, Mylene, and Kate, you came as students, and you leave as colleagues. The yoga world is about to get so much brighter because of your authentic voices and open hearts.

Welcome to the beginning, teachers. 🙏

On NYE and NYD, we gathered at JPY in community. Both offerings rich in ritual. Drinking cacao and dissolving things we no longer wanted to hold, chanting mantras together, lighting candles, and setting intentions for what’s next.

But ritual isn’t something you need to save for special occasions only. It’s always available to you, in any moment you choose to make sacred through your attention and intention.

Ritual doesn’t mean adding more to your already full life. It means bringing presence to what you’re already doing. It’s stirring honey into tea clockwise while setting an intention. It’s taking three conscious breaths before starting your car. It’s lighting a candle, any candle, when you sit down, even to pay bills, transforming mundane tasks into sacred acts.

The smallest rituals anchor us. They become tiny lighthouses throughout our day, calling us back to ourselves, back to this moment, back to what matters. Your ritual might last five seconds or five minutes. It doesn’t matter. What matters is the choosing, the pausing, the remembering that you are here, alive, capable of making the ordinary extraordinary simply by bringing your full attention to it.

We invite you to create or recognize one small ritual you’ll carry into this new year. Something sustainable. Something simple. Something that calls you back to the knowing that your ordinary life is extraordinary, it just needs you to notice.

We’re so excited for our first Holiday Market this Sunday, December 7 from 12–4 PM! 🎄✨

We’re celebrating the talented makers, artists, teachers, students, and friends of the JPY community. Come shop handmade goods, support local creatives, and enjoy the festive energy at the studio.

Our goal with this market is simple: to create a warm, welcoming space where our community can connect, share their gifts, and shine this holiday season. When our makers thrive, our whole community feels it.

Today and every day we are grateful for our growing community. We witness so much of each other’s lives as we move through our own. To be held in compassion and love in all seasons is a gift. Thank you to the JPY community for showing up when your cup is full, when your cup is empty, and all of the times in between.

Today we gathered for a special gratitude flow. Joe led us through a Metta meditation, Jess guided us around our mats and around our minds, and Codie and Kevin served cacao and provided live music.

Thank you, thank you, thank you 💙
