Yesterday, our United Ecumenical Health Ministry directors and local community came together for a beautiful afternoon of learning, laughter, and life‑saving skills at the Alexis United Presbyterian Church.
With gratitude overflowing, we want to thank Emily Brooks, Community Health Program Manager with OSF HealthCare, for leading the CPR/AED training with such heart. Emily brought not only her expertise, but her hometown pride returning to Alexis to equip our community with the tools that truly make a difference.
There was something special in the room: neighbors gathered around tables, mannequins lined up like quiet reminders of why this matters, and a shared sense of purpose weaving us together. These are the moments that strengthen a community from the inside out.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, leaned in, and committed to being ready when it counts.
Thank you to OSF HealthCare for partnering with us. And always a huge thank you to Alexis United Presbyterian Church for opening its doors and its heart to our mission.
Here’s to a safer, stronger, more connected community ~> one breath, one beat, one act of care at a time. 🙏🏻
