We had an udderly amazing time hosting Community Cow and her family at ESI and Algoma Mop! 🐮💼 A huge thank you to Rachel Vandermause and the Algoma Elementary 4K class for including us in your Community Connection project. This was such a creative way to moo-ve student learning beyond the classroom and into the heart of our community.

🚀 We had an out-of-this-world experience at the Mulva Cultural Center where we were able to step into the shoes of astronauts and explore what it's like to live and work in space. If you're curious about space exploration, check out the exhibit. 🌟

🚧🎉Today we celebrated the beginning of an exciting new chapter at ESI with the kickoff event for our new transportation garage, made possible by a generous $150,000 donation from The Marvin and Debra Cherney Family Foundation!

The garage, which is being built by Forest Construction of Luxemburg, will feature a maintenance area and wash bay and serve as a hands-on-training site for individuals with disabilities through our Work Skills Training Program.

The new facility will empower our clients with valuable job skills and greater independence – and we couldn’t be more grateful for the support that’s making it all possible.

🎉 October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month! 🎉

We’re sending a big THANK YOU to Stodola's IGA, Kewaunee Piggly Wiggly, and Festival Foods for giving our awesome clients the chance to shine in roles like stocking shelves, retail assistants, and merchandising. 🛒💪 Your support helps build a more inclusive and welcoming community, and we’re so grateful!

We also want to give a shoutout to the US Postal Service for providing opportunities for a client to sort and deliver mail and packages 📬 — and to Motel 57, where one of our clients is rocking the front desk by answering phones, checking guests in and out, taking reservations, and helping with questions. 🛎️📞

These partnerships mean the world to us. They show what’s possible when businesses believe in ability, inclusion, and opportunity. 💙

Let’s keep celebrating the amazing contributions of individuals with different abilities — not just this month, but every day!

This week, ESI proudly joined the Friends of Crescent Beach in Algoma and Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership to celebrate their 10-year partnership of community-driven efforts to protect and enhance Crescent Beach and the Ahnapee River Watershed.

From clean-ups to conservation, we’re honored to be part of this mission to keep our natural spaces thriving. Here’s to many more years of collaboration and care! 🌊🌿

🍂 We can’t believe we’re already halfway through October — time sure flies when you’re having fun! 🎃 We have been busy making the most of this beautiful fall season.

We’ve been crafting festive fall projects, exploring National Railroad Museum and The Automobile Gallery & Event Center, putting our putting skills to the test at Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf ⛳, and soaking in the views from Cana Island Lighthouse🌊.

We also stopped by the World’s Tallest Grandfather Clock 🕰️ in Kewaunee, hit the Ahnapee State Trail – Kewaunee Trailhead, found some great reads at The Friends of the Kewaunee Public Library bookstore 📚, and hunted for treasures at The Dusty Attic.

What a wonderful way to enjoy autumn in our community! 🍁❤️
