When asked what he likes best about living at Homestead of Algona, Henry said that he appreciates that we start each day with prayer and devotions along with singing out of the hymnals. Henry also enjoys playing Bingo and shopping at the Bingo store. Henry always likes a good steak dinner and he and Lydia enjoyed a delicious meal from Emeralds recently.

Our Christmas Party was a holly jolly success! Our full day of festive fun started with Chapel Time, followed by Christmas carols with our Algona homeschool friends and Daylight Donuts and coffee. We enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by our amazing dining staff, along with scrumptious Christmas cookies made by Cookie Crumbs, Elaine Ingalls Greve. The fabulous meal was enjoyed while listening to beautiful Christmas music by Steve Lang.

All of your friends at Homestead of Algona enjoyed and truly appreciated the wonderful gifts they received from our staff and from the thoughtful people who generously gave to the Angel Tree. We ended our day with more Christmas carols sung by our preschool friends at Seton.

We wish all our residents, families, and staff a very joyful holiday season.
