"62% of people with osteoarthritis are women (Osteoarthritis Action Alliance, 2021)."

Also known as “wear-and-tear arthritis,” osteoarthritis is the gradual deterioration of cartilage that cushions the end of bones. Once cartilage has worn away, bone rubbing on bone can cause friction and pain. Most commonly found in women, the common signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis include pain, stiffness, tenderness, loss of flexibility, and a grating sensation.

"I had a Total Anterior Hip Replacement. I can walk again! I had gotten to the point of using all kinds of mobility aids. Canes, walkers, etc… I am out of pain and have been able to return to gardening full force."
