Low back pain when you wake up? Your sleep posture might be the reason. 🛏️
The way you position your body at night can either support your spine… or stress it for 7–8 hours straight.
A few quick tips for better low back support while you sleep:
✔️ If you’re a side sleeper, place a pillow between your knees to keep your hips and spine aligned
✔️ If you’re a back sleeper, place a pillow under your knees to reduce pressure on your low back
✔️ Try to avoid stomach sleeping, which can overextend the lower spine. But - if you must, use a small pillow or bolster under the pelvis for support
Small changes in your sleep setup can make a big difference in how your back feels when you wake up.
