At OrthoIllinois, we love seeing our community light up the season—safely!

If you’ll be hanging lights indoors or outside, here are a few simple precautions to help keep you injury-free:

🔹 Use a sturdy ladder and place it on even ground. Avoid standing on furniture or overreaching.
🔹 Take your time. Slow, steady movements help prevent slips, falls, and strains.
🔹 Ask for a helping hand. A spotter can steady the ladder and pass supplies so you’re not twisting or stretching.
🔹 Wear supportive shoes with good traction, especially outdoors.
🔹 Keep pathways clear of cords, decorations, and clutter to avoid tripping.

A little extra care can keep your holidays merry, bright, and injury-free.

🕗 Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

If a new injury pops up while you’re getting back to your routines—or tackling those holiday decorations—we’re here to help get you back on your feet.
