👁️💙 Mobile Vision Clinic at All Saints Episcopal Church 💙👁️

On January 12, 2026, Tzu Chi Medical Foundation was honored to bring our Mobile Vision Clinic All Saints Church in Pasadena, providing compassionate eye care to our unhoused neighbors.

Through on-site services, we provided vision exams and provided pairs of eyeglasses, helping individuals see more clearly and move forward with confidence and dignity.

Each exam and pair of glasses represents our commitment to accessible, patient-centered care. We’re grateful to partner with All Saints Episcopal Church to serve the community with compassion and respect. 🌿✨

💙 Care That Reaches Those Who Need It Most 💙

During this holiday season, we had the privilege to collaborate with Foothills Kitchen, an organization that serves warm, home-cooked meals to unhoused neighbors each week at Monrovia United Methodist Church. Together on December 20, we extended care beyond meals by bringing mobile dental and vision services directly onsite In Monrovia, CA.

For many guests, dental care has been out of reach due to cost, health challenges, or lack of insurance. By meeting people where they are, our Mobile Clinic helps remove barriers, offering cleanings, exams, and renewed dignity through a healthy smile.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and restoring hope, one smile at a time. 🌿✨

在這個充滿節慶溫馨氛圍的季節，我們很榮幸能與 Foothills Kitchen 攜手合作。Foothills Kitchen 是一個深耕在地的慈善組織，每週於加州蒙羅維亞的 Monrovia United Methodist Church（蒙羅維亞聯合衛理公會），為無家可歸的街有提供溫熱、家常的餐食。

Diabetes medications don’t work the same for everyone. Side effects and monitoring vary by medication type. and while concerns are understandable, the benefits of good glucose control usually outweigh the risks, helping protect your eyes, kidneys, nerves, heart, and blood vessels.

🩺 Always review side effects, lab results, and symptoms with your clinician, never stop or change medications on your own.
🌱 Herbal remedies or supplements cannot replace prescribed diabetes medications and may interact with them.
⚠️ Be cautious of products claiming to “cure” diabetes, many are unproven and unsafe.

💙 Bringing Care Directly to MVSD Students 💙

We’re grateful to see our partnership with Mountain View School District featured in Mid Valley News! Together, we’re expanding on-campus dental, vision, and medical services so students can access the care they need while helping remove barriers like transportation, cost, and scheduling for families.

Since October, our team has completed 200+ student appointments, transforming school rooms into welcoming mobile clinics and providing preventive care regardless of insurance status. We also teach age-appropriate health habits to help students feel calm, confident, and supported.
