Today our CNAs enjoyed a lunch from the Olive Garden & gifts! These ladies & gentlemen work so hard everyday taking care of our residents. We have enjoyed spending special time thanking them this week! Our AMNH CNAs are the best!

Our residents had such fun Wednesday at Stoneridge Farms fishing. Thank you Cliff & Amy Turnipseed & Brach & Michele White! They even gave us some fresh corn that the residents shucked & we added to our Juneteenth feast yesterday.

CNA week is in full swing at AMNH. Our theme this year is “We Are The Champions.” Monday was “Sock It To Me” day & we treated our CNAs to sock it to me cake & punch. Today was “Disney” day complete with loaded Disney waffles for breakfast. Lessie Clark was our first gift winner this week. Our CNAs are simply the best! They work hard everyday & all day taking excellent care of our residents. This is their special week!

Our residents took a trip to Trapp Blueberry Farm in Pickensville today. We loaded up on the best blueberries! Thank you Nathan Trapp-Environmental Services Director for allowing our residents to visit your family farm!

We have been “Cooking for Fun” this morning at AMNH. We made homemade biscuits with tomato gravy. It was so, so delicious! Our vegetable garden is in full bloom with lots of yellow squash & banana pepper. Our tomatoes are almost ready. Summer is such a fun time at AMNH!
