🦋Since our founding in 2002, the Bonnie Fang Foundation has awarded $259,000 in scholarships to nursing students! We are heartened to know that our support has helped students to become nurses and in turn, give back to their communities
💜We’d like to share a success story about David Zelaya, one of our 2018-2019 scholarship recipients. David was a student at UCLA at the time, where he completed his Master of Science in Nursing. Prior to UCLA, he earned his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
🩺David is now a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and is dedicated to helping underserved communities! He was recently named a Fellow for the American Nurses Association of California’s Advocacy Institute Fellowship/Class of 2026, specializing in Veterans Health!
❤️Congratulations and thank you David, for your continuing support of our community!🙏
