I wanted to invite all family medicine resident members of to a special livestream that I’m hosting called Resident Roundtable with U.S. Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy, MD, MBA (.s.surgeongeneral) & CEO/EVP, Shawn Martin!

This will be on Thursday September 16th from 12:30-1:15PM CST, and is only available for our AAFP resident members so make sure to sign up on the AAFP website and join us.

A few of the things we’ll talk about are combating false and misleading health information and increase in COVID-19 vaccine uptake. I’m really looking forward to it!

What a wonderful whirlwind of a weekend! I am grateful that we were allowed to have an intimate and meaningful ceremony with faculty, staff, co-residents, family, and friends in such a beautiful location. Grateful for the love and support shown to me especially over these last 3 years as I navigated through life as a resident. My heart ❤️ is so full. Humbled & honored to have not only graduated from Eisenhower Health’s Family Medicine Residency, but to also have won the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors’ Resident Award for Advocacy, the Lawrence A. Cone MD Award for Recognition of Resident Academic Achievement (for the third year in a row!), & the Coachella Valley Volunteers in Medicine Outstanding Resident Award for 2021!
