This is BUILDABLE.
This didn’t happen overnight.
I’ll never place more than 1 syringe in someone’s lips at a time as it’s higher insistence of migration, bruising, swelling, and other complications.

At LH, we do the best we can to ease any discomfort by offering too if the line lasers, zimmer chillers & machines with cooling plates! Sometimes it’s possible to still feel a little sting based on your pain tolerance, especially if you have coarse hair.

Taking a Tylenol before your procedure can help alleviate that mild pain you may feel!

I have so many people come in saying “why didn’t I start sooner?! I would’ve if I knew the pain was soooo minimal!” Well here’s your sign, it’s time!

One question I get a lot is “is it really better to start Botox early?”

Yes yes yes!

Botox blocks acetylcholine which causes your muscles to contract. By inhibiting this, your muscles can no longer do the movement that causes lines to get deeper and deeper. If we start later in life, these lines already formed.. making it much harder to get rid of them. If we start early on, we can prevent those lines from ever forming to begin with!

A big reason I do what I do is because I love learning, but I also love educating patients & other injectors! 🤓

Anti wrinkle treatment, also known as neurotoxin 💉 is not a one and done fix. It lasts about 3-4 months depending on location & dosage 💯

It is imperative ❗️that you keep up with your treatments and come every 3-4 months. Otherwise, your muscle gets full movement again and you could worsen those lines with repetitive movement 💪 😮

So to answer the question, with the appropriate dose, you should be receiving tox every 3-4 months. Some areas such as lip flips and jelly rolls may need more frequent treatment such as every 2.5-3 months, although the majority is.. I’ll say it again.. 3-4 months 🗓
