Yesterday the staff gathered together to surprise one of our wonderful residents, Ron, for his birthday with a personalized chocolate cake. Ron is a kind and gentle soul who has touched the hearts of everyone here.

We truly wanted to make his birthday special, and he was touched by the thoughtfulness.

We are so grateful to be surrounded by such caring and loving people, staff and residents alike.

You are amazing Ron! We're so glad you're here and we hope you have a Happy Birthday.

After serving dinner to our residents we decided to end the evening on a sweet note by surprising one of our beloved residents, Dick, with a special birthday celebration. Dick is a cherished member of our community, known for his joking personality and kind remarks. Dick absolutely loves strawberries so our Sous Chef made him a beautifully decorated strawberry cake! As the cake was brought out to the dining room, everyone started to sing along. we are so grateful that we were able to do this for him! Happy birthday Dick!

We had a special visitor, Chris, come to perform Tai chi music and movement for the residents. The soothing sounds of the music filled the room as Chris gracefully moved through the ancient practice of Tai chi, guiding us through each movement with precision and grace. It is moments like these that remind us of the importance of connection and community. Chris's visit was a beautiful example of how simple acts of kindness and creativity can make a big impact on the lives of others. Thank you, Chris, for bringing your talent and positivity to our community.

Today was a special day at Briarwood as we had the pleasure of hosting the talented Marvin Luttrell for a live performance. It was heartwarming to see the smiles on the faces of our residents as they enjoyed the music and connected with each other through the shared experience. Music has a way of bringing people together, and today was a perfect example of that. Thank you, Marvin, truly.
