What’s cooking for the Allegan Farmers Market Thursday May 7 opening day?
Lavender Velvet Cake Donuts! 🍩 100% naturally colored with ube and butterfly pea flower. This one was difficult to get the pH correct for the natural colorants. There may be little areas that look like mold (as shown in the photo.). No need to get grossed out by it, it is actually clumps of butterfly pea flower reacting with alkaline ingredients in the recipe! Quadruple lavender infused with our farm grown and processed lavender vinegar, lavender water, lavender extract and lavender buds! We will be giving customers a complimentary lavender velvet donut with a minimum $10 purchase. One per customer, while quantities last!
2 day Cold proofed (diabetic friendly) sourdough boules, batards and minis, many farm flavors including lavender lemon!
100% sourdough raised and cold proofed everything bagel French bread 🥖. Made with honey from our bees 🐝
100% sourdough raised and cold proofed cinnamon rolls. Will they fit in the refrigerator after they are done proofing on the counter 😳😬? Served with a dallop of buttercream frosting and garnished with lavender buds. 🪻

Last but not least, we will have our regular farm lineup of bath and body farmcrafted lavender items: bar soap, foaming hand soap, sponge infused soap, solid dish soap, magnesium cream, rollerballs, lip balms, lotion and hydrosol! We are out of the whipped tallow but it will be in back in stock for the next market!
Downtown Allegan is a little bit of a mess with some beautification projects but if you come in as if you are going to Harding’s, you will find us kitty korner from the back of the post office.
