Today also marks the day I got the last of the Hidcote cut. It’s pretty “crispy” (but smells fabulous) and will be dried and used for hydrosol production this winter. This is the absolute latest we have harvested ever ever! We still have some Grosso, phenomenal and gros bleu blooming. That should be gone with mondays harvest. I am sleeping 💤 in tomorrow so no harvesting.

On the farm and open today from 11-4. It is muddy as it started pouring when I was harvesting the last Hidcote. This means stilettos 👠 are not recommended if you are stopping by 😂.

Fun fact: Paul only has 1 and a half kidneys (cancer over a decade ago.) That is why we have a beekeeper.

Good Saturday morning in cloudy West Michigan!

Paul is at the Holland Farmers Market from 8-2 today. It is already rippin with activity. We sure appreciate the people of Holland who come out in all kinds of weather year round!

Fresh made in the past week: Tallow Body Butter, Lavender & Magnesium Dream Cream, Lavender Lotion. Y'all are keeping me busy with the body butter and dream cream!

On the farm (open 11am to 4pm) we have Jon's Fall Honey and our Spring Honey. Give it a taste test and pair it with sourdough! We have 6 LARGE hot n fresh boules this morning (2 original, 4 lavender.) We also have discounted day old lavender boules in both large ($9) and mini size ($3). Day old sourdough is still yummy, the crust is just not as crunchy. The hot n fresh stuff is inside so condensation doesn't get on the packaging so you need to ask for it. Large hot n fresh loaves are $12.

It's a fine cool 58 degree morning in July: a great day for sourdough on the farm! Sample our original or lavender sourdough with (or without) our fresh spring harvest honey.

The original boules (only large available) have been cold proofing for 3 days. This means it has a nice sour pucker and finish.

Our large boules are LARGE weighing in at 1.75 pounds for $12 and our small boules weigh 10 ounces and cost $5.

Baked fresh today and will be hot and ready at 11AM when our farm opens. I will update availability in the comment section below. You will find us at 3849 Monroe Rd, Allegan, MI

This is all of the honey we have for now. Jon will be bottling the rest (1 gallon) in smaller (3oz bottles.) Delivery TBD. If you want a large bottle (12 oz) of our spring harvest honey 🍯 you may want to grab yours this weekend! We do have a tester of the honey so you may try before you buy.

Our lavender blossom floap (floating soap) is made with honey from our bees 🐝 and is presented below the honey in our farmstand. Each bar features a beautiful one of a kind “in the pot” purple (mica) 💜 swirl. Of course it is scented with our farm grown/farm distilled lavender hydrosol. Floap also has goats milk and tallow. Super gentle, making it a perfect facial bar and Paul loves it for shaving!

There is no confetti featured soap of the week. We are so wiped out of inventory, the weekend will be spent packaging and pricing our remaining confetti soaps that were reserved for online sales. We are in that delicate balance of finalizing harvest of lavandins and the last of our late blooming (Hidcote blue) English. We appreciate the local support from events we attended and on farm guests we had last week! We have FRESHLY made lotion and magnesium cream (and soon) body butter in the farmstand.

2025 distillation of Skeeter spritz will be out tomorrow.
