With deep gratitude, I want to thank our customers, friends, and community for your incredible support and kind wishes as we close this chapter. 💙 This journey has been filled with growth, connection, and grace. Though our company is closing, the friendships and memories remain — and I look forward to new beginnings ahead. ✨

📢 Important Announcement from ACCI
After nearly four decades of dedicated service, Augmentative Communication Consultants, Inc. (ACCI) will be closing its doors on September 30th, as our founder, Millie Telega, retires and begins a new chapter.

Since 1987, ACCI has been driven by one mission: to give a voice to those who cannot speak. From early collaborations introducing groundbreaking devices such as the Alltalk and SpeechPac, to developing our own innovations such as the ACCI Choice Communicator, Phoenix and ACCI MultiPac- technologies that became lifelines for individuals unable to speak. Over the years, we have trained Speech-Language Pathologists across the country on AAC, as well as advocating and navigating the complex landscape of medical insurance funding for communication devices-long before it became a standard practice. We’ve been honored to support families, clinicians and individuals with complex communication needs who taught us what it truly means to listen-and what it means to be heard.

ACCI was established before I became a stepmother to a medically fragile child with cognitive and physical challenges. That personal experience deepened my commitment to the families we serve — reinforcing why our work has always been about more than technology; it’s about connection, dignity, and empowerment.

Client Support
We will continue supporting current clients through September 30, 2025. If you need assistance, please contact: acci1@earthlink.net

Looking Ahead
As ACCI’s chapter closes, I am stepping into a new adventure. I will soon be releasing my first book: Trusting the Path: Guided by Grace, a personal reflection on spiritual insights, choices, and the quiet strength found along my journey. More details on the book release will be shared soon.

With Heartful Thanks
To every family, clinician, business associate and friend who has walked this path with us-thank you. Your trust made this work meaningful. Your stories became our purpose.

Though ACCI is closing, the voices we helped to amplify will always be our legacy.

With deep gratitude,
Millie Telega, M.ED., CCC-SLP

Celebrating our 38th Anniversary!
ACCI is one of the early companies providing Speech Generating Devices (SGDs) and developing AAC awareness. Back in the eighties, ACCI was instrumental in launching the first digital device, AllTalk and later the SpeechPac and ScanPac by Adaptive Communication Systems (ACS) along with providing trainings to SLPs and developing dealer networks across USA and Europe for ACS.
By listening to our clients' needs over the years, ACCI developed the Dedicated ACCI Choice Communicators (iPad-based SGD) a communication app and case funded through medical insurance.
Thank you allowing ACCI to provide AAC to you and for loyalty throughout the years!

If you have a broken Dedicated ACCI Choice Communicator that was funded via Medical Insurance or if your student's communication needs have changed, medical insurance will often replace the device.
To obtain a replacement device, download the necessary forms: www.acciinc.com under Funding. Submit the completed funding packet via email or fax to ACCI.
