My amazing dearest clients, I just want to thank you for such an amazing year. After tomorrow, I will be taking a much-needed few weeks off to be with my family. We recently have had a death in the family and we are all crushed. My husbands beautiful sister died unexpectedly. My children are healing from their loss of their auntie. I would love to just hug my kids a little more And be together. Please if you reach out for an appointment, and don’t hear from me, reach back out after the first of the year. May this holiday season remind you that it’s not about presents under the tree. It’s about the presence of your family and loved ones.

As I was taking my trash out today at the office, I definitely stopped, and enjoyed the sun on my face for a bit. I even took Scooby for a walk today. Yay for 30 degrees

After single-digit temperatures, Michigan hits 30 degrees and suddenly it’s beach season.

People are outside like they just survived something. Jackets are unzipped. Shorts are making an appearance. Someone says, “Honestly, it feels nice out,” and everyone nods like that’s a normal thought to have while standing on snow.

This is how Michigan works. Ten degrees feels unbearable. Thirty-five feels tropical. The sun comes out for half a second and we’re laying back, soaking it in, convincing ourselves we might get a tan if we believe hard enough.

You’ll see folks on patios. Kids without gloves. Someone grilling for no reason other than principle. A guy fully reclined in the snow like he’s at a resort, Faygo within reach, living his best life because compared to last week, this is basically summer.

Out-of-staters would call this unhinged.
Michiganders call it recovery.

We don’t wait for warm weather.
We recalibrate.
And once your body has experienced true cold, 35 degrees feels like a gift.

Shut the front door! I’m on so many Facebook groups and Instagram groups with other Massage Therapist. Someone said that they offer their clients breathe right strips to help them with the congestion laying face down. I would say 80% of you experience this. Guess what I just ordered on Amazon to be delivered right to my office. Coming soon… Breathe right strips, if you would like to use them! Can’t wait for all the feedback to let me know if it’s working!
