In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we are doing a service project collecting winter outdoor wear to support the Henry Ford Wyandotte ER Department. Collecting gloves, hats, coats, scarves, etc; until the end of the month. Feel free to join in donations if you can! Giving back to those who care for our community is a meaningful way to honor his legacy.

✨ Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! ✨

We were thrilled to host our Resident Christmas Party, and it was truly a wonderful success! It was an all hands on deck kind of day, filled with holiday cheer, a Christmas singing performer, and so much fun shared among our residents, their families, and our staff. 🎶🎄

Our residents had an amazing time, but this celebration would not have been possible without the dedication and involvement of our incredible team. A special shoutout to Kim in Activities for her intricate planning and attention to every detail—your hard work truly made the day shine!

We would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to one of our residents’ family members for generously donating the tamales — they were absolutely delicious! 🌮❤️

This holiday season, we are feeling incredibly grateful to have such an involved and caring team. At the end of the day, everything we do is for our residents, and moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

✨🎄 Getting Into the Christmas Spirit 🎄✨

We've officially kicked off the holiday season with some festive decorating throughout the building! Our residents joined in on the fun by creating beautiful handmade ornaments — each one unique, creative, and filled with holiday cheer.

Watching everyone come together to decorate the Christmas tree made the whole place feel extra cozy and bright. ❤️✨

Here’s to a joyful start to the season and many more moments of holiday magic ahead!

🇺🇸 Veterans Day 2025 Celebration 🇺🇸
Last week we had the honor of celebrating our incredible veteran residents. Each hero was called by name and presented with a certificate and flag pin, graciously provided by Residential Hospice.

We shared moments of singing, prayer, fellowship, and of course—cake! 🍰
It was a beautiful day filled with gratitude and appreciation for those who have served.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so meaningful. 🇺🇸❤️

🎉✨ Today we had the joy of celebrating a truly special milestone — one of our wonderful resident’s 102nd birthday! 🥳💐 We’re so grateful to have shared this incredible day surrounded by love, laughter, and sweet treats! 🎂💖

Her thoughtful daughters made a beautiful birthday cake and a fresh fruit platter for everyone to enjoy — the perfect touch to such a special celebration. 🍰🍓
