This year marks a remarkable milestone for the building of Maple Heights Senior Living — 50 years of the buildings warmth, resilience, and community. Since its founding in the 1970s, it has stood as more than just a building; it’s been a haven of comfort, care, and connection for generations of residents and their loved ones.
On this special occasion, the halls of Maple Heights came alive with celebration. Residents, families, and friends gathered to honor the legacy of a place that has touched so many lives. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as guests enjoyed a stunning array of food and beverages, each dish thoughtfully prepared to reflect the spirit of the celebration.
The highlight of the evening was an unforgettable performance by the talented Theo Spight, whose music brought smiles, laughter, and even a few tears of nostalgia. The space was adorned with beautiful decorations that paid tribute to the building’s rich history while embracing the vibrant energy of the present.
As we reflect on five decades of memories, growth, and unwavering dedication, one sentiment rings true: what a blessing it is to be part of Maple Heights. The building may be made of bricks and beams, but its heart is built from the love and stories of those who call it home. Here's to the past, present, and future of Maple Heights — may its legacy continue to thrive for generations to come.

For the month of August, we are excited to announce that our Maple Heights, Life Celebrated went to Linda I., an incredible woman who dedicated her life to helping those in desperate need.
Linda was a 911 Dispatcher who was able to save the lives of many. However, there is one event that took place which changed the lives of many.
On what seemed like a normal day as a dispatcher, a phone call came in from a man who was unable to give any information about what was happening. Although the man was able to tell her a single road where he had pulled over on, Linda was able to pinpoint him with the help from emergency services.
Staying on the line with the man who became unresponsive, Linda was able to listen for the sirens in the background coming from emergency dispatch.
After being able to find the location of the man, medical attention was provided which saved the mans life.
Without Linda that man’s life would have ended, it could have been a tragedy, but it wasn’t.
Eventually, Linda was able to meet the man whom she rescued and was able to embrace him with a hug.
At the Life Celebrated event, all of us were able to relive thar day by watching a news report that highlighted Linda as a savior.
We were able to watch Linda embrace the man she rescued which brought tears to us all.
We are so blessed to have been able to share this wonderful event with Linda and are so blessed to have someone so brave and heroic as part of our family.

Maple Heights residents participated in "Soak the Singer," , which is a benefit that Ron Muka does after musical performances for a charity, in this case Grace Centers of Hope homeless shelter in Pontiac, which helps get people off the street. The residents of Maple Heights donated a total of $45 to dump multiple buckets of water on Ron, he was totally soaking wet when they were done.
