Battle rope exercises are great for building muscular strength, increasing cardiorespiratory fitness, and enhancing athletic performance. They're low impact and can even be performed sitting down, so they're a great alternative to other cardio exercises.

When Edgar Sanchez came to me he had issues with mobility, flexibility, stability, you name it. These are all buzzwords we throw around these days but what do they mean?

I first started treating Edgar’s flexibility issues with fascial stretch therapy through which we discovered he was not only inflexible but lacked the ability to stabilize his tissue network through full ranges of motion. Further letting us diagnose a lack of strength in certain areas.

We tend to think of strength in only a dynamic manner when we should also consider our static strength that we need to be able to control our tissue net through its complete ranges.
This not only translates to more strength and stability, but enhanced mobility as well as a more easily developed physique. Muscle that grows, is simply muscle that can move and can contract.

It hurts my eyes watching all of the wasted time and effort people spend in the gym JUST lifting weights, and not thinking about why or how they’re lifting them.

Edgar’s physique is the culmination of not only a LOT of hard work and proper nutrition but the fundamental understanding and attention to movement.

FST, or Fascial Stretch Therapy works by moving the joint along with the surrounding tissues to help the fascia and muscles relax at the same time.

Check out some of the features of FST below:

Zero pain: Massage and stretching therapies that focus on rehabbing an injury or breaking up scar tissue can be pretty painful, but fascial stretching is incredibly gentle.

Fast recovery: In addition to reducing soreness, fascial stretching improves the blood flow to tired muscles, helping them recover faster from tough training sessions with less soreness.

Improved performance: There's a lot of science behind fascial stretching, including how it could help you run faster, lift heavier, boost endurance, improve coordination, and increase flexibility.

Injury rehab: Stretching the fascia breaks up scar tissue and increases the range of motion in injured areas.

Weight loss: Weight loss isn't the aim of fascial therapy, but feeling better and being able to move with less pain will make exercising easier.
