Congratulations to Aveanna patient Kai for graduating speech therapy!

Over the last year and a half working with SLP Kelli, Kai’s language has grown immensely! He can now happily share about his camping trips or how he loves to see the tractors at Home Depot. His new language skills show off his humor and kindness.

Kai has also become an independent and adventurous eater, even trying and liking squid recently! We are so thankful we were able to be a part of his speech therapy journey. Thank you to Kelli for pouring into patients like Kai!

In honor of Speech-Language-Hearing Month, we are excited to celebrate a wonderful milestone from one of our Aveanna therapy patients!

Davion has officially graduated from speech therapy services with SLP Grace! Throughout his time in therapy, he worked on fluency-related goals and made incredible progress in building confidence across communication settings. He is now communicating effectively and confidently with all communication partners!

A proud Raiders fan, Davion brought his personality and passion into every session, and it has been a joy to be part of his journey. We are so proud of Davion and the dedication he showed throughout his time in therapy. Congratulations on this achievement!

All month long, we're excited to recognize our Aveanna speech therapists and the impact they make on our patients and their families. Meet SLP Brooke and Aveanna patient, Evelyn!

Evelyn has been part of our Aveanna therapy family for nearly a year, where she's worked with SLP Brooke on building her expressive language skills. Throughout the last year, she has made huge progress in her speech journey!

"It has been incredible to watch Brooke's confidence and communication grow since I've worked with her," said Brooke. "She has shown determination, resilience, and so much progress every step of the way. We're so excited to celebrate her graduation from Aveanna after almost a year of dedication and hard work!"

As Evelyn steps into this new, exciting chapter, we're thankful for therapists like Brooke who have helped her find her voice. Thank you for your passion for helping children like Evelyn!

Aveanna patient Palmer is a joyful, energetic 6-year-old who brings so much personality into each session with OT Maranda. She and her family have built a strong, collaborative relationship with her therapist, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where Palmer continues to thrive.

Originally referred to occupational therapy for fine motor delays, Palmer has made incredible progress with her Aveanna team across multiple areas. Most recently, she has gained increased independence in her morning routine—successfully completing bathroom tasks and getting ready for school with growing confidence.

She is especially proud of her ability to brush her teeth and hair with improved attention, endurance, and accuracy! She has also made meaningful gains in her fine motor skills, including writing her first and last name and working with numbers.

Recently, Palmer earned a Bluey-themed celebration with OT Maranda to recognize her hard work and progress! We love to see the special bonds formed between our Aveanna patients and therapists. Keep up the great work, Palmer!
