Nip Back Ailments in the Bud!
Everyone, at some time, will have back pain. It is inevitable with our active life styles. If you are a housewife, caring for children, moving furniture to clean, or carrying groceries in from the store you run a high risk of straining your back.
Outside workers, who use riding mowers, weedeaters, heavy equipment operators, welders, ranchers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, a/c repair, or those working in the hay fields, do constant bending, twisting, and lifting. This repetitive motion can, and will, cause injury to the lower back at some time. When it first appears, it may only be aching with muscle spasm. This may last a few days to two weeks then leave. The body tries to compensate for this imbalance causing the pain to subside. But fear not, it will rear its ugly head again. It may be in a few weeks or months but will occur again. Most take over the counter remedies for pain and inflammation helping temporarily.
When individuals ask "When should I come in"?, I tell them if it doesn't quit hurting after 3 to 4 days you should seek treatment. If it is muscle strain, it will begin to subside but if there is an imbalance in the structure it will persist.
