Hey everyone!! Meet our newest associate therapist, Jasmine! 🥰
Hi, I’m Jasmine! I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Baylor University, where I completed my clinical training at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. I believe that while many of our deepest wounds are formed in relationships, they can also be most meaningfully healed within one. As a therapist, I strive to build a space of warmth, curiosity, and compassion, where you can feel supported to move toward healing in your own way.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults navigating chronic illness and complex health journeys; cultural and intergenerational identity challenges, particularly within immigrant family systems; and anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship stress during life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, drawing from CBT, DBT, EMDR-informed strategies, and Gottman Method. I also use a systems lens to honor how culture, family, and community shape our experiences and inner worlds.
Before private practice, I worked in hospital and nonprofit settings, including pediatric endocrinology and refugee resettlement. These experiences continue to shape how I show up in the therapy room and fuel my commitment to holistic, person-centered care, especially for those navigating layered identities and difficult life experiences.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, experimenting with new recipes, and tending to my houseplant collection.
