Dr. De La Fuente is a therapeutic optometrist who has been licensed by the Texas Optometry Board since July 2000. He received his Optometric Glaucoma Specialist certification in 2003 by the Texas Optometry Board. Dr. De La Fuente received his doctoral degree in June 2000 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received a Bachelor's degree in Science in 1991. Dr. De La Fuente grew up in the Dallas area and graduated from Wylie Senior High School in 1987. Dr. De La Fuente has always worked in Dallas area as an optometrist. He was a part time staff member Los Barrios Unidos Community Clinic in West Dallas for 4 years before he left to dedicate more time to Central Vision Clinic practice. He is fluent in both Spanish and English.
