Wow ~ Look at that sunshine! Tricky, though. The mornings can be pretty chilly. By afternoon is often warms up. This is a time of transition in so many ways, I think.

December has segued into January. Thinking about Himalayan pink salt, which presumably has been around for about 250 million years. Gosh that's a long time! The phrase "salt of the earth". Indeed, we humans are as elemental. I expect we don't experience time the way a grain of sand, or salt, might. However, we surely are aware of the moments and the passages of our lives.
I think there's much to be said in turning our attention to moments of
loving-kindness, of awareness; tuning in to our own inner wisdom, and the reality that we are all of the tribe of humans who walk this earth. Salt has all kinds of shadings, as do we. May we of course recognize and treasure our individuality, and our potential and commonality as well.

Hi! It's been a cold winter. Such a lovely Spring day! I'm starting to get some herbs in the ground. Sage, Parsley, Lavendar... One nice way to create a mindful moment for yourself is to grab a leaf off a living herb plant, and rub the fragrance into your fingers. Take a moment to inhale, and be aware of this living thing. And, taking that moment to be aware of yourself. My granddaughter's name is Sage. Wish I could find a "Quinn" plant for my grandson!
