I just did a Tarot reading for myself on a problem I’ve been having trouble solving. The reading was helpful, but I needed a clarifier. (Sometimes reading for oneself can be hazy.)

So I reached for my Spirit of the Animals Oracle deck. After shuffling and cutting the cards, I got this card, Black Jaguar. Together with the accompanying booklet explanation, all became clear. Here’s an excerpt:

I often get messages from loved ones in spirit. For instance, while traveling back from breakfast with my husband and cousin, whom we were visiting, the song, “We are family” played on the radio just as 11:07 (my birthdate) appeared on the phone. 💜

We are truly all connected as One.

And so, you teach . . . or you nurse, or you work in a factory. It matters not the profession. How do you serve? You are in direct relationship with all others. Could you but see the grid of energetic cords that connect you all, you would cease pulling and tugging and flow. You would give and care and not compare. Life is a dance, dear ones. It is not a solo performance until and unless you shift your point of view and realize there is only one You. You are all direct expressions of the One Light. How do you serve? You are so very loved.

It’s safe to take time for you — to step back, breathe, and do something that nourishes your soul. 💛

Please don’t judge yourself for needing care. That’s not weakness — that’s wisdom.

Your well-being matters. And when you honor yourself, you’re not only healing you… you’re raising the vibration for everyone. 🌟

Holiday time is when families gather. Christmas especially can be emotionally challenging.

Here’s some advice for family members who don’t know what to say to someone who is grieving a loss, even one that occurred years ago.

>There is no timeline for grief. There is no “getting over it.” We grieve because we love. That would be like telling someone to “get over” the love they feel for their child.

>Don’t be afraid to mention the child’s name or share a memory. We love hearing about them!

>Show a picture you have of them that the griever has perhaps never seen.

>Tell them what their child meant to you.

>Express/share your grief for the loss.

>Offer a long hug with no words.

Don’t be afraid that you’ll cause more pain. You’re not that powerful. You will instead allow for healing, however small. 🙏😌💗💜
