“I just decided today that I am keeping the baby,” pregnancy test/ultrasound patient.

This mom came to us unsure of what she wanted to do about her pregnancy. She felt like the timing wasn’t right and was already wondering who would help take care of the baby. When she returned for a repeat ultrasound, she told the nurse and patient advocate that she had decided to keep the baby and had begun making plans with her parents. We are so grateful to walk alongside moms during these moments to help them feel supported and informed.

We are so grateful to be an active member of the Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative (PPWC). Last week, a few of our team members attended the PPWC Annual Summit at the beautiful White Barn in Lancaster, PA.

Our team gained valuable insight on the current state of at-home abortions, marketing tools for pregnancy centers, Pennsylvania’s political landscape, and tips for protecting our center from “worse case scenarios.”

Five years ago, Bright Hope entered into a beautiful partnership with Save the Storks. That marked the beginning of our capital campaign to raise funds for a Medical Mobile Unit, which allows us to bring life-affirming medical services directly to the women who need us most throughout the Lehigh Valley.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our partners, we raised the necessary funds in record time. For more than two years now, this mobile unit has been serving our community—and because of it, many lives have been saved. These women found hope at a time when they felt they had none.

Just last week, Bright Hope had the honor of hosting the leadership team from Save the Storks. It was a powerful and moving day as they witnessed firsthand the impact of our mobile unit in action.

This patient was going through a major trauma. Thankfully, she called to talk to us about the things that were laying heavy on her. One of our caring advocates was able to listen to her and help her through what she was going through. We are grateful for these connections and for the opportunity to help them put some pieces together.

We are so grateful to be one of the 154 pregnancy medical and resource centers in Pennsylvania. Last month, we had the privilege of touring Morning Star in Harrisburg who has been serving women and families for 50 years! They have a beautiful and busy pregnancy medical center and pregnancy resource center. We are so grateful to be able to build relationships with other organizations throughout the state who share the same heart and mission to provide no-cost medical and education services to the women, families and the unborn.

Bright Hope welcomes moms and dads in with open arms. The clinic is made to feel calm and our staff are trained to be welcoming and informative. Bright Hope is a place where women can talk to the staff about what’s on their mind and will be equipped with the information they need to help them with the obstacles they feel like are hard.
