Huge thanks to OXOS Medical for loaning us the MICRO C unit for our 2024 The Guatemala Healing Hands Foundation Mission. It was invaluable in the screening room as well as in the operating room. Truly a portable X-ray machine that I was able to fly down to Guatemala. . Excellent detail and easy to use.

The Guatemala Healing Hands Foundation Screeners Day 2024. We evaluated over 130 patients on Sunday and selected over 50 for surgery for the week. Patients that had been pre screened by local therapist and surgeons were then evaluated by our team including hand therapists, pediatricians, anesthesia and surgeons. Thank you to AXOS medical for allowing me to take the Micro C portable xray machine to Guatemala.

The Guatemala Healing Hands Foundation Day 3. The team went to Chichoy Alto about 2 hours outside of Guatemala City. The last several miles we all rode on top of the chicken bus and were greeted with fireworks and the most gracious people leading a parade into town to the school. I have included some photos of the school and the dirt road from years prior and the progress is inspiring. A long fun day playing with the children , sharing a meal prepared by the women of Chichoy and visiting their homes.
