CALLING ALL NEW MOMMYS!! REGISTER BY FRIDAY NIGHT!!!
A morning for moms of children under 1 to get some relaxation, self-care, affirmation, support, wellness & education for both mom & baby. Run by experts in mental, emotional, & nutritional well-being.
Join psychologist, Dr. Amy Saborsky, Cara Koslow, LPC, PMH-C, Jen Searing, LPC, Amy Arnold, LAPC, and Jessica Clark, RD, LDN as they give you a well deserved retreat that will provide you with warmth, support, and wellness. Each instructor will take time with the group to give you something to take away that will be a valuable wellness resource as a new mom for your baby or for your own self-care. Our experts are also moms who have been through the stages you are at, and wanted to design a retreat that they would have loved during their first years as moms!
Topics will be the following:
1. Dr. Amy will provide a relaxation session involving mindfulness and mediation for the postpartum mommy. How to take 10 minute mindfulness breaks. She will also do a 20 minute relaxation with moms.
2. Cara Koslow, LPC will provide education on managing postpartum mood and anxiety and help moms develop a self-care plan.
3. Jen Searing, LPC and certified art therapist, will work with moms on positive affirmation. Moms will create a beautiful watercolor piece to take home with them from the retreat, to help remind them after the retreat that they are doing a wonderful job being moms!
4. Amy Arnold, LAPC will meet with moms and discuss finding your self-identity postpartum and keeping your own wellness intact as a new mom, while also managing stress.
5. Jessica Clark, RD, LDN will work with moms on conquering newborn nutrition and also tips for moms to make sure they are also eating well during these challenging weeks as new parents!
Pre-Registration required! Moms should dress comfortably, bring a water bottle with them and anything else they might need for the morning. There will be some short breaks in the schedule as well. Light refreshments will be provided.
